强度高；既柔软又有韧性,可剪裁加工。

耐酸碱耐化学腐蚀性能好;抗油,防水[可擦洗]。

耐热老化与耐气候老化,以及耐臭氧、氧、光等。

具有高绝缘性能,介电常数3~3.2,击穿电压20~50kv/mm。

不粘性与低摩擦表面不粘：几乎所有物质都无法粘附，易清洁，常用于食品加工模具、烘焙垫。摩擦系数极低（0.05~0.1）：自润滑性好，适合无油轴承、导轨衬垫。
